I was part of the advance party for our summer camp at Kilmun near Dunoon. In those days we had a converted life boat called the Gannet. on this occasion it was skippered by Stuart Watson one of the leaders. As we sailed down the clyde a fog came down which meant we could hardly see very well, so we kept a look out for all the port buoys (the ones with red lights on) as we followed the buoys I said to Stuart I think that buoy we are sailing for is moving well guess what he said to me. Eventually we found ourselves in the great harbour in Greenock the buoy had moved it was a tug boat he followed.(guess who got their own back)
