In the photo is John Douglas, Group Chairman of the Sea Scouts and his
wife Mattie.  John was also Parks Superintendent of Renfrew Parks at
that time

Sunday pleasure flights in Rapid from grass where you sat and watched
the planes at the Newmains road terminal, Ian thinks it was ten shillings
and the pilot was called Johnny!
