This church is very popular for weddings.

This is the old Renfrew Parish
Chambers Offices. It is now used for Renfrewshire
Council

The Victory Baths opened in
1921. It was a gift to the town from the owners of a
shipbuilding company of the town.

The Police Station is situated
next door to Victory Baths ,both buildings are still
a good example of that building time.
The Police station is in Inchinin Road. It was
opened in 1910 and cost £6000.
Inchinin Road is now a busy road hence the police
cars blocking the lovely view of the building.

Renfrew Parish Church. The
church was built in 1861. The Architect being JT
Rochead. The spire is 130 ft high and can be seen
from all around the town.

This is a view of the tower
from Canal Street which was originally called Ferry
road, the street name was changed in 1786 when the
Renfrew Canal was opened.

The Brown Institute was
presented to the town by Andrew Brown who was
Provost of the Renfrew from 1867-1870, 1879-1882 and
1891-1900.
Renfrew Castle once stood on this site. It is now
used as the Renfrew Community Museum. The road to
the right of the picture takes you down to the
Ferry.

Robertson Park was a gift to
the people of Renfrew from Provost Mr Robertson. He
gifted it to the Burgh in 1909. He was promised it
would remain a park for the people of Renfrew.

The North Parish Church was
built around 1883.
It was previously known as the Renfrew Free Church.
It is still a popular church and remains a
coummunity asset. It is surrounded by buildings
which does it no justice. This picture was taken on
a cold wet January morning, this church is beautiful
in the sunshine.
